10. Heatwave
A heatwave, or heat wave, is a severe climate disaster in which extremely high temperature conditions occur. This condition occurs especially during the summer season, when temperatures rise far beyond the normal range and persist for a long time. During a heatwave, extreme heat has a negative impact on life in urban and rural areas, and it has a serious impact on human health, the environment and infrastructure.
Heatwaves are caused by heat waves that persist for a long time and are accompanied by persistent high temperature levels. This condition can arise due to many reasons, such as climate change, abnormal air pressure patterns, and absorption of more heat due to urbanization. When heat waves persist for a long time, it leads to accumulation of excessive heat in the atmosphere, causing temperatures to reach unbearable levels.
The biggest impact of heatwaves is on human health. Extreme heat can cause people to suffer heatstroke, dehydration, and other heat-related health problems. During a heatwave, the body’s temperature regulation system is affected, causing internal body temperatures to rise excessively and can be life-threatening.
